Axobuddies

This game was made for the 2025 Global Game Jam. This project is currently in development.

"Axobuddies" is a cooperative platformer where two axolotls, one pink and one green, must work together to overcome challenges in an underwater world filled with platforms and obstacles. Each player can create bubbles of their color for their partner to use as trampolines, jumping to new heights and avoiding dangers. The key to progressing is cooperation: both axolotls must reach the goal, a flag at the end of each level, after overcoming the obstacles in their way.

Throughout their adventure, the axolotls will encounter special bubbles with hats that add a competitive twist. While the main goal is to work together, players can collect points for each hat they find on their journey, creating a balance between collaboration and friendly competition.
